Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is a Mexican musician who was born into a musical family. Her childhood was spent listening to classic, old boleros, and traditional ranchero, romantic and romantic ballads. Ana loves tangos as well as opera and various dramatic forms. Ana began to study singing as well as play musical instruments from an early age, along together with her mom. The formal vocal instruction at the age of 16 old, under the legendary Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. The School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. In Guadalajara along with Mexico City, she was an opera singer in numerous choirs as well as chamber ensembles. In 2000 she moved to the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2007, she re-located to her new home in Southern California. She sings as a soloist Latin American music for private events and also as part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. She has been involved in many local projects, both as performer and teacher, because of her love for music and art. Ana has also been previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as and the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana finds it a pleasure to have the opportunity to share her love and appreciation for traditional Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to instill a sense of for younger generations to keep this vibrant music alive.Viva Mexico!
